Information Security and Data Protection Specialist

Role Description

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the organization's information security policies and processes. The goal is to maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and systems while reducing security risks.

You will collaborate with IT, data analysis, and risk management teams to identify and evaluate threats and provide appropriate protective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Implementing organizational security policies and standards.
• Monitoring access, networks, and systems to identify security threats.
• Performing penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Managing security incidents and providing preventive solutions.
• Documenting processes and training users on security principles.

Minimum Requirements

• Expertise in network security concepts, cryptography, and access management.
• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewall, and VPN.
• Ability to analyze threats and manage security incidents.
• Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST.

Success in this role requires precision, threat analysis skills, and the ability to implement effective security solutions in real environments.

You must be able to monitor the organization’s security processes and protect data and systems from internal and external attacks.
